League Start Dates:
Men’s Division: Saturday May 24th, 2025
Women’s Division: Monday May 26th, 2025

Founded in 1969 the Hamilton Touch Football Association (HTFA) has been the heart of competitive and recreational touch football in the Greater Hamilton Area. Whether you’re here for the competition or the camaraderie, we offer a fun, organized, and safe environment for players of all skill levels.

🏈 2025 League Meetings 🏈
ALL League Meetings are Mandatory
- At least 1 Team Rep must attend ALL meetings
- Teams not attending a meeting will be fined $50 per meeting not attended
Meeting Dates:
- AGM – Monday, January 27 , 7:30PM – @ Endzones Bar & Grill
- No Fees due
- 1st League Meeting: Monday March 24th, 730PM – @ Endzones Bar & Grill
- $1000 deposit required
- All deposits are non-refundable
- 2nd League Meeting – Thursday April 24th, 7:30PM – @ Endzones Bar & Grill
- Balance of League fees due
- The HFTA reserves the right to remove teams from the league that are not paid in full

🏈 2025 League Updates 🏈
To play in the HTFA in 2025:
- Teams must have their team representative(s) attend the January 27th AGM as well as the March 24th and April 24th league meetings at the EndZone Bar & Grill, 1305 Main Street East at 7:30 PM
- Complete on-line registration with TFONT via Karelo
(Note the TFONT registration fee is separate from HTFA league fees)
Starting in 2025 there will be a $50 no show fee for teams who do not attend the mandatory meetings
2025 Fee Increase:
- As per the AGM vote, ALL games will now be played at Mohawk Sports Complex and Bobby Kerr
- Based on feed back of the team reps, the HFTA has commissioned a rebuild of its website
- Due to this, and other fix cost increases, the fees will tentatively increase as follows:
Returning Team Fees:
- Mens – $2,300
- Womens – $1,500
New Team Fees:
- Mens – $2,450
- Women’s – $1,650
Please Note:
- Cash and cheques are accepted (postdated cheques will not be accepted)
- E-Transfers will not be accepted.
- All fees are tentative and subject to any field/referee fee increase
🏈 2025 League Information 🏈
League Start Date:
Men’s Division: Saturday, May 31st, 2025
Women’s Division: Monday, April 26th, 2025
Playoffs/Championships Date:
Saturday, September 20th, 2025
Lightening Protocol:
Player’s safety is one of the most important jobs of the officiating crew.
When any official sees lightening in the area of the field, the official will call an Officials Time Out. The Head Official will notify both Captains to take their players from the field and wait in a secure area or their cars.
The Head Officials will note the quarter and time, the down and distance and the spot of the ball. This will be noted on the back of the card. The game will be suspended for 30 minutes, and the 30 minute wait will restart after each lightening strike is witnessed.
If the game cannot be resumed. The Head Official will call the game and note the information in assignr and the information will be passed onto the HTFA Executive, who will make a decision on how to proceed.

Officiating:
Please, treat them with respect, you do not have to like their calls, but do not swear or make it personal. They are an important and integral part of your game. Abusing officials will not be tolerated.

Reporting of Injury Taking Place during a League Game:
The Team Manager is responsible to:
- Have the head official of the game note the injury on the official game card
- Players name, number and nature of injury should be noted
- Report the injury via e-mail to the league president within 24 hours
- Players name, number, description of how the injury was incurred and the nature of injury should be noted
